Council grants Arrotin tax abatement

City Council Tuesday night granted Arrotin Investments LLC two years of tax abatement on $1.2 million of real property and five years of abatement on $950,000 of new manufacturing equipment.
Arrotin Investments plans to move its New Haven manufacturing operation, Arrotin Plastic Materials Inc., into the former DriveSol building at 401 E. Ohio St. Arrotin plans to modify the building for recycling plastic materials.
The company will relocate approximately 29 jobs to Kendallville, and create 25 new jobs.
Last week, the Economic Development Advisory Committee recommended the abatement.
Arrotin hopes to begin its Kendallville operations in January. Back to Top
