Several East Noble High School science students placed in the Top Four at Saturday's Science Olympiad at Indiana University Purdue University at Fort Wayne.

Medal winners and their placings included: Josh Roesener and Kim Springstead, astronomy, 2nd place; Lauren Damerell and Roesener, Cell Biology, 1st place; Gabe Stephens and Jake Oury, Chemistry Lab, 1st place; Amber Roesener and Chris Bassett, Environmental Chemistry, 3rd place; Amber Sizelove and Natalie Ehmke, Fossils, 1st place, and Ornithology, 4th place; Grant Manon and Kerrick Gerst, Remote Sensing, 1st place, and Game On, 1st place; and Tyler Kohlman and Kyle Mundon, Sumobot, 1st place.

Canterbury won the team event. Due bad luck with injuries and last minute project damage, East Noble scored poorly with replacements on short notice and no entries in four events.
