About Us

Welcome to the Noble County Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC) web site. The information contained herein, while not all inclusive, is provided to help you in your expansion research for your company or organization.

The NCEDC was incorporated in late 2005, but planning for the unified county economic development office was started in 2004. A consensus among community leaders from the various cities and towns in the county, along with strong support from the county commissioners led to the NCEDC opening for business in early 2006.

The NCEDC has professional staff on board whose sole purpose is to help you establish a prospering business or grow your business in Noble County. Noble County is a hidden jewel in northeastern Indiana. Our people have a good work ethic, we have abundant natural resources: rivers, lakes, parks-including a state park. Amenities such as fine arts, dining and secondary education facilities are nearby in Fort Wayne. We have four 18-hole golf courses, two with executive housing with incredible views.

There are three public school corporations as well as a private Montessori school and several private Christian schools in the county offering quality educational opportunities. In addition the Four County Vocational Cooperative provides services which prepare young people with a skill set that you can build upon. Educational opportunities are enhanced with the location of state of the art libraries throughout the county.

We invite you to let us take you on a tour of our county, including industrial parks or greenfield locations that might fill your need. Need rail service? We’ve got that, too!
